Definition:    2.  Flooring composed of blocks of wood (or occasionally other materials) arranged in a geometric pattern.


Other:   Those of us who had the benefit, even if we didn’t realize it at the time, of a semi-bilingual education will, one hopes, pronounces this one correctly.  (It’s not a miniature park. That’s called a parklet.)
