Entry:    magisculed (v.)

Definition:  A tough one.  My best guess is Wallace means majuscule.  If so, then magisculed (majusculed) refers to uppercase letters.  Nowadays, that tends to mean YOU’RE SHOUTING!  Minuscule refers to lowercase.  Haphazardly mixing the two, is eXtrEMelY aNNoYiNG HabIT.

  1. I just assumed it was a portmanteau:
    Magic Markered + majuscule

    1. Nice! I like that better, since the guy must have had multiple editors who would have advised a correction here. If the Eds had final say, which they usually do, the portmanteau would've been the only way to keep it in.

  2. Now mixing the two is accepted as mocking.

    1. Very true and how interesting that new meanings can evolve that quickly, even in written language.
