In context:   “…your disk of white light trembling like the moon on water as it players over the identical bureaus, the recessions of closet and room’s front door, door’s frame’s bolections…”

Definition:    A term applied to mouldings which project before the face of the work which they decorate, as a raised moulding round a panel.

Other:    Let’s do a bit more Scrabble talk.  If you take the letters in BOLECTION and add three more letters, of any sort, you can form two different words, both pretty neat: GEOBOTANICAL and PALEOBOTANIC.
